Bangla Handwriting Competition
The students of KG-2 (Gulshan Branch)
took part in a
‘Bangla Handwriting Competition’ on 20th
February’14. It was done as in order to show respect to the ‘International
Mother Language Day’.
This is a regular practice every year
which ensures and encourages handwriting practice in Bangla.
The students took part spontaneously
and tried their best to make their writings nice. Neatness and correctness were
emphasized while writing.
Educational Trip
The shapes, sizes and colors were the most attractive
part of their lesson.
They even came to know about the differences of summer
and winter vegetables and fruits.

LANGUAGE DAY
February
21 is the great ‘Martyr Day’ as well as ‘International Mother Language
Day’. Sixty years
ago on this day Bengali nation reached a decisive phase in its collective existence.
The
United Nation declared Twenty First February as the ‘International Mother
language Day’ in 1999 and the day is being observed in different
countries of the world through various program.
The
children of International Turkish Hope School, Gulshan Preschool and Junior Section, observed the day on 20th
February in the school
premises.
They
pray to the Almighty for the salvation
of those departed
soul who sacrificed their lives for protecting the dignity of the mother tongue.
Bangla Olympiad Award Ceremony
In tribute to all martyrs of 1952 every year International Turkish Hope School celebrates the International Mother Language Day by organizing a Bangla Olympiad.Earlier, till last year this occasion had been celebrated in its own yard. This is the first year the school organized an inter-school competition on 15th February where twelve different institutions with a total number of eighteen separate branches participated in four different categories. Around two hundred and fifty talented competitors competed in that day long program. On 22nd February, Saturday at afternoon the Award Distribution Ceremony of this 4th Bangla Olympiad was held.

Pitha Festival
Dear Parents,
There will be Pitha
Festival on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, between 1.00 pm to 03.00 pm.
Interested guardians from Junior Section are requested to reserve stalls for
free of charge by Monday, January 27, 2014, at the office in Junior Section.
Hope you’ll attend with enthusiasm to celebrate this traditional winter
festival. There will be 30 stalls only. Reservation will be first come first served basis.
