Project Fair

ANNUAL PROJECT FAIR

Precisely a week after the Bengali New Year, Hope School as usual got into diverse activities that develop students’ creative fields. After the grand Bengali New Year Fair came the Project Fair on Saturday, 21 April, 2012 with the participation of both Gulshan and Uttara Junior Sections.

 

A host of teachers along with a great number of students of Junior Section of Uttara and Gulshan Branch under the supervision of Science and Social Studies Teachers stalled more or less sixty projects to display at the auditorium of ITHS Main Campus. Students came up with the very creative and unique innovations.

ITHS - Bangladesh Returns Home from Int’l Environmental Project Olympiad with a Golden Medal

2 members of Bangladesh team who have participated in the 6^th INEPO-EUROASIA Int’l Environmental Project Olympiad have returned home today on 10^th April, early in the morning with a Golden Medal. Rezwan Siddiquee, student of Int’l Turkish Hope School and his teacher Kemal Yavuz, represented Bangladesh in the 6^th INEPO-EUROASIA Int’l Environmental Project Olympiad which was held between 04 and 08 April, 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

ITHS Organizes Bengali New Year Function and Boishakhi Mela

International Turkish Hope School has been running its operation in Bangladesh in 8 different branches in Dhaka, Chittagong and Bogra since 1996. ITHS has organized Bengali New Year Function & Boishaki Mela as a tribute to Bengali New Year on April 14, 2012 at its Uttara Main Campus between 10:30 and 15:00.

ITHS Students from all different sections and from different classes enriched the program with their colourful and meaningful poems, dances and songs. Turkish teachers and students coloured the occasion with their beautiful and patriotic Bangla songs. Guardians and guests were very pleased with the performances done by the students. After this cultural function, students in their 

reserved stalls sold out and offered rich menu from both Turkish and Bangla cuisine. Both parents and some top level officials from embassies visited the stalls and purchased the goods.

Spelling Bee

ITHS is a goldmine of creativity. Based on classroom feedback the children of KG-1 Rose and Tulip had an exercise on spellings on March 21^st .It promotes the idea of ‘a day of achievement.’ 

Children were asked to write few spellings (dictated by the teachers) and out of 43 students 18 of them could write all the spellings correctly and they became the spelling bees!!!

Home Activity Report

Each month students of I.T.H.S Gulshan branch are asked to submit their home activity reports based on well manner, diligence and reading habits. 

 A teacher is in charge to look into those reports. 

 

Considering the reports three students are chosen from each class under three categories namely well mannered, diligent and book worm. In each month selected students gifts were distributed on last Thursday by respective class teachers. Students feel encouraged to achieve the rewards.

Project Presentation

The students of class 2 of gulshan branch had a project presentation on Natural Disaster on behalf of class 2 students a few students came during assembly time and spontaneously and deliberately exposed their project.

The students mentioned some ways of survival from the natural disasters like earthquake, cyclone etc.

Independence day

 



Students of ITHS Gulshan Branches observed 26^th March in the morning at the auditorium through a small cultural program.








 


 


They were told to uphold the freedom of the country and their do’s for the overall betterment of the nation.

Turkish Olympiad - Finale

  
 Int’l Turkish Hope School has organized Turkish Olympiads Bangladesh Eliminations on 24th March 2012, Saturday between 10:30 and 13:00 in its Uttara Main Campus to select the students who are going to represent Bangladesh in the 10th Int’l Turkish Olympiads in Turkey in June 2012.

            Program has been honoured by the attaendance of Honourable Advisor to Honourable Prime Minister HE Prof. Dr. Gawher Rizwi. Of the other distinguieshed guests were Honourable Chief Information Commissioner HE Mr. Muhammad Zamir, Honourable Ambassador of Turkey to Bangladesh HE Mr. M. Vakur Erkul, Chairman of Turkish Language Department Prof. Dr. Faruq Ahmed, President of Turkey 

Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TBCCI) Mr. Fikret Cicek, Director of Turkish Cultural Centre Mr. Fatih Celik,  Principal of International Turkish Hope School Mr. Bayram Saatci.
