SYMPOSIUM ON THE IMPACT OF A TEACHER
A Symposium on “The Role of a Teacher as a Nation Builder” was held at International Turkish Hope School on 22nd April 2017. The program was conducted in its main auditorium at Sector 4, Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prof. Dr. Manzoorul Islam was the Keynote Speaker; the teaching staff of Turkish Hope attended the programme.
The programme started with the Principal of ITHS, Mr. Yavuz Koca, giving a welcome speech and a presentation titled as `Characteristics of Wise Teachers’.
Ms. Roksana Zareen (Deputy Head of Uttara Pre-School), Mr. Ismail Akbas (Head of Gulshan Sections) and Ms. Nafisa Talukdar (Student Counselor of ITHS) presented their sessions on a Teachers Role in Nation Building. The anchor of the Symposium and the Head of Cultural & Publication Affairs of ITHS Mr. Shahriar Bin Mukhles concluded the first part of the Symposium with his presentation on `Role of Cultural & Publication Activities to Build a Nation’.
Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoorul Islam, mesmerized the audience with his speech while elaborately explaining the mannerism and importance of playing a significant roles as teachers in nation building.
Mr. BedrettinSuata, Chairman of Standing Committee of ITHS thanked everyone for attending and participating in this Symposium, specially Dr. Syed Manzoorul Islam, and handed over a token of appreciation to him on behalf of ITHS.
